Manufacturing Electrical Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

YOUR ROLE IN THE FAMILY:

  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions 
  • Installs and maintains high-speed, industrial process equipment for filling/production, power, lighting, and control for all production process and control equipment 
  • Troubleshoots, adjusts, and repairs all electrical equipment, components, transducers, and complex timing and inspection devices; Performs preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems 
  • Identifies inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and coordinates through supervisor to resolve 
  • Installs and troubleshoots facility power distribution and lighting services 
  • Must display competent ability to wire, assemble, and layout electrical/electronic systems in an extremely neat and professional manner and conform to company wiring specifications; Updates wiring schematics and computer program printouts 
  • Supplies and maintains required hand tools; Maintains daily logbooks and records; Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from the computer 
  • Follows instructions from supervisors regarding policies and procedures 
  • Effectively responds to directions during emergencies by understanding emergency procedures, equipment and systems as necessary; Implements contingency plan to the level required 
  • Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste 
  • Other duties assigned by management

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?

  • 3 years of related experience preferred 
  • Working knowledge of the following areas: nomenclature of all assigned equipment; solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC/DC motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers and inspection and digital devices 
  • Ability to apply standard evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard electrical/electronic techniques, procedures, and criteria 
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools, electronic test equipment, able to differentiate colors and color shading, perform basic mathematical calculations 
  • Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner
