YOUR ROLE IN THE FAMILY:

The Financial Analyst partners with the Head of Finance to conduct financial, business, and cost analysis that drives strategic and operational decision-making. This role delivers critical insights into operational costs, cost controls, operational efficiency, and product costing through expertise in SAP FICO, Costing modules, and SAP Analysis for Office. The Financial Analyst evaluates, and tracks capital projects, drives accurate financial statement analysis, financial reporting, planning, and forecasting, supports timely monthly closings, and creates dashboards using SAP Analysis for Office and/or Power BI to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Operating in an office environment, this position demands precision, autonomy, and strict confidentiality.

Financial and Business Analysis:      
  • Conducts detailed financial and business analysis to support strategic and operational initiatives, including cost analysis and financial forecasting and planning        
  • Analyzes and summarizes large datasets to provide actionable insights for management.        
  • Develops and maintains dashboards using SAP Analysis for Office and/or Power BI to visualize financial performance, forecasts, and key metrics.        
  • Tracks and analyzes labor costs, maintenance costs and other indirect costs
Capital Project Evaluation and Control:       
  • Evaluates capital projects, including cost-benefit analysis and investment case development, collaborating with internal and external partners.       
  • Tracks and controls capital project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines, using SAP Analysis for Office.      
  • Supports capitalization decisions by providing financial data and documentation for audit compliance.
Cost Accounting and Product Costing:         
  • Manages cost accounting processes       
  • Utilizes SAP Costing module to ensure accurate and detailed product costing and alignment with business objectives.       
  • Monitors cost variances and identifies opportunities for cost optimization.
SAP and Systems Management:         
  • Employs SAP FICO, Costing modules, and SAP Analysis for Office to support financial planning, reporting, and data extraction. 
  • Executes monthly closing activities within SAP, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.        
  • Applies advanced Microsoft Excel skills, integrated with SAP Analysis and/or Power BI, for data modeling, forecasting, and dashboard creation.         
Reporting and Compliance:       
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.        
  • Supports HR controlling by generating FTE and associated costs.        
Process Improvement:         
  • Identifies and implements process enhancements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations. ·        
  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety protocols and addressing unsafe conditions as needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field (required). ·        
  • Master's degree or CPA (preferred).      
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or a related field.     
  • Experience in SAP FICO modules, and SAP Analysis for Office (required).   
  • SAP ECC experience (required) SAP S4/HANA (preferred)     
  • Experience in product costing, capital project evaluation, financial analysis budgeting and cost accounting and control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.       
  • Proficiency in developing dashboards using SAP Analysis for Office and/or Power BI (preferred).      
  • Knowledge of US GAAP regulations and financial compliance.        
  • Ability to distill large amounts of data into actionable recommendations.        
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.        
  • Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner.        
  • Embrace frequent interaction with peers and Head of Finance in an “in office” setting.
