Sr. Procurement Operations Manager

- Responsible for ensuring the reliable procurement, inventory management, and lifecycle support of technical materials, spare parts, maintenance supplies, and production-critical equipment.
- Leads the development and execution of technical sourcing strategies while maintaining optimal spare parts availability to support maintenance, engineering, and manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for end-to-end management of technical purchasing activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, cost optimization, inventory planning, and spare parts governance.
- Works closely with spare parts, operations, and finance teams to ensure critical spare parts are available when needed while minimizing inventory carrying costs and reducing the risk of production downtime.
- Manages strategic supplier relationships, drives supplier performance improvement initiatives, conducts competitive sourcing events, negotiates commercial agreements, and identifies continuous improvement opportunities that deliver measurable value to the organization.
- Possesses extensive experience in technical procurement, maintenance and repair operations (MRO), spare parts management, supplier relationship management, inventory optimization, contract negotiations, and ERP systems such as SAP, SAP Ariba or Coupa.
- Leads sourcing initiatives for technical materials, MRO supplies, spare parts, and production-critical equipment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, mitigate supply risks, and ensure continuity of supply through strategic procurement planning.
- Oversees spare parts governance, inventory optimization, and replenishment strategies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Balances equipment reliability and uptime requirements while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Establishes and manage strategic supplier partnerships, performance scorecards, and continuous improvement programs.
- Drives supplier accountability for quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Leads RFx events, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and commercial agreement execution.
- Secures favorable pricing, payment terms, service levels, warranties, and contractual protections while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Partners with maintenance, operations, planning, spare parts and quality teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Leverages ERP systems (SAP, SAP Ariba, Coupa) and analytics to improve procurement efficiency, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and operational reliability.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Seven or more years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience.
- Minimum three years of leadership experience managing procurement professionals or cross-functional procurement programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement transformation activities.
- Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
- Demonstrated success identifying and delivering cost savings, supplier improvements, and process optimization initiatives.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, or industrial operations preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex procurement processes and drive process improvements.
- Strong analytical and organizational capability.
- Ability to influence decisions and build alignment across multiple departments and organizational levels.
- Commitment to ethical procurement practices, compliance, and operational excellence.
